Engineer Ehsan Motevalian says about the need to provide cash flow for urban projects.

Ehsan Motevalian, the Secretary General of the Association of Mayors of Iranian Metropolises, referring to the establishment of a new urban management team in the past 20 months, said:
At the time of the handover of the municipalities to the new management team, most of them were in debt, for example, they had taken bank facilities, and due to non-payment, late penalties were added to it.
he further added: Although the municipalities have many assets, due to various reasons, including the recession caused by the Corona epidemic and the bad management of the city, it had led to the accumulation of debt in the municipalities.
Motevalian pointed out the need to provide cash flow to carry out new urban projects and said:
Considering the amount of bank debt accumulation, refinancing in the form of facilities through the banking system is definitely not in the favor of municipalities, because the debts become heavier and a large amount of debt is left as a legacy for the next generation, so a new solution must be sought.
