Necessity of holding a workshop:
The main issue of insurance operations is risk. Insurers seek to transfer the risk to the insurer through the purchase of various insurance policies in exchange for premium payments. In fact, the main and important concern of an insurance company is the identification, correct assessment and management of insurance risks. Incorrect pricing, acceptance of unfavorable risk, excessive risk retention and insufficient reserves are the main risks of insurance. Considering the need to identify and manage insurance risks in insurance companies, the insurance committee of the Iranian Financial Association, in cooperation with the Iranian Insurers’ Syndicate, has designed an insurance risk management training workshop.
